We are looking for experienced Java/J2EE Developers / Software Engineers with 6-7 years professional Java/J2EE commercial programming experience. In terms of background we are looking for people with a Bachelor’s degree, Java certification would be a distinct advantage. We are looking for strong Java Developers with Java Object Orientated Programming development skills. We need contractors to have an in depth understanding of developing ecommerce applications, good communications and analytical skills who possess the following technical knowledge / experience.

• Prior experience working in a team of 6 + individuals working collaboratively
• Experience in delivery of Applications related projects, enhancements and change requests, for business Applications, in accordance with agreed schedules and costs, to meet agreed business requirements.
• Proven capability to work closely with business users in a team oriented environment.
• At least 4 years’ experience of J2EE JAVA, JSP, EJB,UML, XML,JDBC
• At least 2 years’ experience of Oracle
• Prior experience developing web Applications in Banking / Financial Services

Prior experience mentoring more junior developers and managing a development team would be a big advantage. Architectural experience would be a huge plus.
